Thanks to our faithful friends from Jacksonville, Florida each year keeps getting better and better! The annual Christian Surfers Eternal Crown Surf Contest was a success as well as the week long surf camp leading up to it! Pura vida and gracias!
Coky had the priviledge to marry a couple whom the groom God used to really confirm the necessity of Radical church in Jaco. He’s an old friend and a classic surfer. Here are some photos, thanks McDowells for all your help!
Last week we had our 2nd church sale, selling used stuff for 500 colones (a little less than $1) and under. We sold a ton of clothes and at the end we played, how many layers of clothes can you put on in a minute. You’ll see some pictures from that game. I think Pamela won with like 15 layers. P.S. If you haven’t visited lately, this is the new kids room next to the main sanctuary.
Thanks to our good friends from OCC, some local help from CS Jaco and San Jose and a friendly group from YWAM we participated in our first event as contest support of the Costa Rican Contest Circuit. Check out the photos: free fruit, free love and free trash pickup. If you look closely you can see Coky and Gustavo up in the judges podium.
Thank you to our team from Northern California! They worked very hard pouring the floor for the home of a local family that faithfully attends church. Here is a picture of the team, us and the family they blessed! If you would like to see some more photos care of Allison, click here.
Thanks to Titus International and LoveNow we were able to put on the 2nd Annual week long surf camp with Christian Surfers. This year we had about 50 kids each day and about 15 plus volunteers. We stretched, we surfed, we ate and we shared the word.Click on the link to see a slideshow of the pictures thanks to Kyle, part of the Titus team.

I guess spending a Christmas in a tropical climate wasn’t that bad after all! Especially when we got to hook up some kids with quite possibly there only gift as well as a sweet play Andrea put on with the help of some of these people!
I was completely surprised when about 10 friends from church showed up at our door at 8am singing songs in Spanish to wake me up and celebrate my birthday with breakfast and cake! Thank you friends, thank you God, happy birthday self!
Success in placing and success in the Lord. What could be better? Costa Rica placed 5th and they are ready for next year on home turf! Check out these great shots.
